Kythnos island belongs to the group of Cyclades and it is found in close distance to Athens, the capital of Greece. In fact, the ferry trip from Piraeus to Kythnos is 3 hours, while the trip from the port of Lavrion in southern Attica to Kythnos is only 1,5 hour. Due to its close distance to Athens and the stunning natural beauty, Kythnos is a frequent weekend destination and ideal for short holidays.
